When the old roof of a home in Indianapolis started leaking and causing interior damage, the homeowners knew it was time to call in the professionals. We began by tearing off the old roof down to the sheathing, inspecting the structure, and replacing any compromised decking. We then installed critical building-code components that were missing from the original installation, including a proper drip edge, gutter apron flashing, and ice-and-water shield. The new roof featured Atlas Pinnacle Pristine® shingles in Black Shadow, a Class 3 impact-resistant roofing system. We also corrected improperly ventilated bathroom exhaust fans and replaced outdated skylights with new VELUX “No Leak” skylights.
